Hello. My name is John Magninat and I started flying in 2009. Within 2 years I earned my rotorcraft commercial, instrument and flight instructor certificates. My first job was teaching at the same school where I got my ratings and while I was there I was introduced to a crop duster and started flying rice pollination contracts. I flew the rice pollinating contracts for a few years and while I was there operating his helicopter I got the opportunity to ride in an ag plane.
I then obtained all of my fixed wing ratings and in 2013 I started crop dusting. I have done aerial application, offshore flying in rotorcraft as well as private operations and aerial filming/video work. I still help occasionally with rice contracts and fly for fun with friends and family.
We now own drones and I have obtained all of the necessary licenses for drone operation and heavy payload flying for agricultural spraying services. There are many advantages of drone aerial spraying, with some of the main ones being: precision, efficiency (less chemical required), and effectiveness. We primarily help small farms of 50-100 acres but can accommodate smaller and larger farms and I welcome the opportunity to discuss how we can help any area farmer.
